Spring 2008 - For your Information -- University of Akron Classes Start - Anderson teaches Monday and Wednesday 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Carol Hofer on 10:00 AM and Saturday morning. You can make direct contact with Professor Anderson by calling 330-813-2720.
The Cleveland Area Masters Seminar conducted by Grandmaster George E. Anderson, 10th Dan in advanced instruction for the combined disciplines of: Karate [Kwanmukan - USA Karate Federation] - Kobudo [Kobudokan] - Ju-Jitsu [USA Ju-Jitsu - Kenka - Taiho - PSDI], USA Karate, Taekwondo- Kwonbup [Kangdukwon - Changmookwan - Central TKD Assn], and extended learning in Health and Wellness will be held on the First and Third Tuesday evening of every month at the International Karate Centers main location in Strongsville at the crossing of Rt 82 and Pearl Road - right in the center of the town. February 8-10 - KMK Symposium and USJJF Winter Camp, Crown Plaza Hotel, Canton, Ohio. The event site is at http://www.kwanmukan.us Many classes to choose from at any one time, a Gala Banquet Friday night, and special guests. In addition, we will have a number of new classes and different material in the standard classes, as updates will be added periodically in the next few months. Great Grandmaster Chull Hee Park, founder of Kang Duk Won and President of Korean Kwan Bup Karate Association and master of Soo Byuk Chigi will be attending.

March?- The Kwanmukan Black Belt Extravaganza -. The Extravaganza is a presentation of the core strength of the Kwanmukan organization and a recognition (graduation) of those who received dan grades from the Kwanmukan this past year. The Kwanmukan issues dan grades in Karate, Kobudo, JuJitsu, and Taekwondo either through the Kwanmukan or other organizations for which the Kwanmukan has a ranking and certification agreement. Additionally, the Kwanmukan recognizes contributions in other areas of the martial arts such as law enforcement, medical and therapeutic applications. Hanshi Anderson comments will cover an in depth discussion/lecture on the World Kwanmukan and the related disciplines. This extravaganza will include and in depth discussion/lecture on the World Kwanmukan and the related disciplines. Please contact Shihan Pat Hickey to get on the schedule. --- There will be a discussion of the organization and the roles of Shihan and Sensei within the individual dojos and within the Kwanmukan.
